How to Ward against Negative Entities

There are many ways to do the same thing but here is one way that I use to cleanse a space and ward off an attached entity:

Take water and bless it with the God/dess or other dieties of choice
Add salt to the water

You now have a mixture of blessed salt water

Dip your fingers into the water and begin to sprinkle it on your head and all over your body, dipping fingers again and again as necessary. You could also use a spray bottle if you had one.

Once you have finished cleansing yourself with the blessed water, now sprinkle or spray the water in a spiral motion around spinning it out and out and out until you reach the edges of the room -- this pushes the entity back and back and back until it is forced from the room that are protecting. You will then seal all windows and doorways with the blessed water by sprinkling/spraying the water at the top of the door/doorway and at the threshold. Also do this to any windows in the room. For good measure sprinkle/spray the blessed water around the entire perimeter of the room. You can also bless the ceilings and walls in the same manner.

Once the room is completely blessed, it makes the room permanently sealed from the entity. You can refresh the seal with the blessing water as often as you desire.

I personally like to sprinkle salt around the baseboards and in the corners. It doesn't have to be super thick or noticeable. It can be light scatters and still be effective.

You can also spray the blessing water on your person when you are going outside of the sealed room so that the entity can't bother you while you are out.

You can do an entire house sealing one room at a time until the whole house is sealed.

To reinforce your work, I like to push sticks in the ground at every corner of the house, under every window, and by every doorway. I used Pecan twigs because they were readily available on my property but any wood with protection properties would be suitable. Also you can draw a banishing sigil in the air. This can be a banishing pentagram or runes of protection. I don't use salt outdoors because it damages the soil and makes it where nothing could grow.

Measuring Success - Are Failures Really Failures?

As humans we tend to be obsessed with measuring things and being successful, and most importantly, measuring success. What happens when all our measuring for success equals failure? Is it really a failure? Or are we just framing the situation with the wrong measurement system? For instance, much too often our measurement system is money or accumulation of items of worth. So, if we don't make money doing something or acquire something that has a monetary value, we label the venture a failure and feel bummed about that. How much money is enough money to be considered successful? Is breaking even enough? Usually not by most people's standards. Is double your money enough? And once you obtain a certain level of monetary *success*, how long is it before you have to beat that level of success?  And when you don't, you fall back to failure. And so many things can impact the monetary success of something -- down turn of the economy, an illness, an unexpected expense, and on and on. When measuring success in money, failure is inevitable.

What if we removed money from the measurement of success? How would you determine success then? Would it be a success if you were doing something you were passionate about? Making friends you didn't have before? Accomplishing bench marks in your life you hadn't done before? Maybe you wrote a book, did a video, or became a speaker. Maybe you helped someone in a way that changed their life or helped them through a difficult time. Those would truly be measurements of success and very meaningful ones. But if we fell back to measuring success purely in terms of money, accomplishments like that would slide by unnoticed. Why? Because we get ensnared into an environment that operates fully on money and quite truly we do need a sum of money to get by in the world for at least the basic necessities of *three hots and a cot* as they say.

Whether we realize it or not, we have been subtly and sometimes not so subtly programmed to function in our world in certain ways. After all, for those of us in the USA, it is the *American Dream* to be a home owner, have a family, a job, be an outstanding member of your community, etc. So, if we don't own a home, are we a failure? If we are childless or unmarried, are we failures? If we live anonymously in our communities are we failures? And what constitutes an acceptable home? Everyone dreams of owning and living in a HUGE house. So if your living room isn't large enough to park a fleet of humvees are you a failure? Do you really need a house that is so huge your entire family and extended family can assemble in it for a few days out the year for holidays but you pay to maintain it, pay taxes on it and mortgage etc. year around? And yet it is something that your pets can lounge in luxury all day while you slave at a job to pay for it? And your kids are in daycare and spend only a few waking  hours at the end of the day in the giant home you got so they would have plenty of room to play -- and yet they do 98% of their playing away from home at daycare? In fact, your home is only a place that you come to at the end of a busy day to hurriedly make a meal, do a bit of chores, then fall into bed so you can get up the next day and do the same? And then the weekends are crammed full of chores and pleasures to the point that you are exhausted come Monday morning and barely able to function. BUT you have all the impressive items that measure success: good job, high wage, big house, family, nice car, community recognition, etc. But friends, HOW is this truly success? Isn't it more like slavery?

Looking back at my squandered time in the rat race chasing rainbows for success, how would I see and measure success now in my elder years? I would say a small, simple quiet life where you have the time to enjoy home, friends and family is success. A life where  you're not juggling and struggling large bills for large homes and fancy cars is success. I gladly drive a used car so I don't have payments hovering over me. I gladly live in a smaller house so that I can pay it off and not have a mortgage in tow for 30 years. That small house gives me smaller utility expenses since it is easier to heat and cool. It takes less time to clean and repairs are less costly. I still had 15 years of a mortgage left when I sold my previous house. I turn 55 this year. That means I would have been 70 years old before my mortgage would have paid off. I don't want to be a slave to debt to the end of my days. And by debt I'm speaking specifically of *voluntary* debt. Some debts we have no choice -- utilities, groceries, taxes -- things that everyone pays. But car payments, house payments, and many other things are debt by choice. And generally we are spurred to indebt ourselves which ultimately enslaves ourselves because we have the faulty sense of measuring success in monetary gain and possessions.

Coming to see this has been a long time coming for me. How liberating it is to be free of measuring my success in life by money and possessions. It is my wish for all of you that you find a similar knowing and peace at a much younger age than I did so you can enjoy it longer.

#Reclaiming Power

This is an excerpt from our next book coming out soon:

Reclaiming Power

I have been called many names
I let them bite into my soul
But they are but words
And as mere words,
they have only as much power
as I grant them
Today I reclaim that power
I say each word
And then I smile
And I tell that word
You are no longer my enemy
You do not define me
You do not have power over me
I set you free to return
to those who sent you
It is their hateful souls
that own you and need you
I do not need you
I am fine without out you
I am better than fine
I am Brilliant
All of these and more
Those words I claim
And give power to
For those words nourish my soul
Unlike those hurtful names, those ugly words I have set free
Even when I am broken in spirit
or not on top of my game
Even when I make mistakes
that I later feel shame or embarrassment by
I am not those hateful names
Those words sent to destroy me
To label me
To minimize me
To ridicule me
To demean me
To shame me
BAH and away with all those words
My mistakes are my lessons
Though I wish I had not made them,
I have learned by them
I am a better me
I am stronger
And I have grown
And through that growth
I have outgrown the ugly, hurtful names
that others have thrust upon me.
Today, I push them back to their owners
They have need for them
whereas I do not
My soul feels unbound
free of those hateful words.
It is a wonderful day and I feel awesome

I AM awesome.

A little look at a few Osho Zen Tarot Cards

 Osho Zen Tarot Major Arcana

0 -  The Fool

The Card
Moment to moment, and with every step, the Fool leaves the past behind. He carries nothing more than his purity, innocence and trust, symbolized by the white rose in his hand. The pattern on his waistcoat contains the colors of all four elements of the tarot, indicating that he is in harmony with all that surrounds him. His intuition is functioning at its peak. At this moment the Fool has the support of the universe to make this jump into the unknown. Adventures await him in the river of life.

The card indicates that if you trust your intuition right now, your feeling of the 'rightness' of things, you cannot go wrong. Your actions may appear 'foolish' to others, or even to yourself, if you try to analyze them with the rational mind. But the 'zero' place occupied by the Fool is the numberless number where trust and innocence are the guides, not skepticism and past experience.

Osho's Teachings

A fool is one who goes on trusting; a fool is one who goes on trusting against all his experience. You deceive him, and he trusts you; and you deceive him again, and he trusts you; and you deceive him again, and he trusts you. Then you will say that he is a fool, he does not learn. His trust is tremendous; his trust is so pure that nobody can corrupt it.
Be a fool in the Taoist sense, in the Zen sense. Don't try to create a wall of knowledge around you. Whatsoever experience comes to you, let it happen, and then go on dropping it. Go on cleaning your mind continuously; go on dying to the past so you remain in the present, here-now, as if just born, just a babe.
In the beginning it is going to be very difficult. The world will start taking advantage of you...let them. They are poor fellows. Even if you are cheated and deceived and robbed, let it happen, because that which is really yours cannot be robbed from you, that which is really yours nobody can steal from you.
And each time you don't allow situations to corrupt you, that opportunity will become an integration inside. Your soul will become more crystallized.

Osho Dang Dang Doko Dang Chapter2

1 - Existence

The Card
This naked figure sits on the lotus leaf of perfection, gazing at the beauty of the night sky. She knows that "home" is not a physical place in the outside world, but an inner quality of relaxation and acceptance. The stars, the rocks, the trees, the flowers, fish and birds--all are our brothers and sisters in this dance of life. We human beings tend to forget this, as we pursue our own private agendas and believe we must fight to get what we need. But ultimately, our sense of separateness is just an illusion, manufactured by the narrow preoccupations of the mind.

Now is the time to look at whether you are allowing yourself to receive the extraordinary gift of feeling "at "home" wherever you are. If you are, be sure to take time to savor it so it can deepen and remain with you. If on the other hand you've been feeling like the world is out to get you, it's time to take a break. Go outside tonight and look at the stars.

Osho's Teachings
You are not accidental. Existence needs you. Without you something will be missing in existence and nobody can replace it. That's what gives you dignity, that the whole existence will miss you. The stars and sun and moon, the trees and birds and earth--everything in the universe will feel a small place is vacant which cannot be filled by anybody except you.
This gives you a tremendous joy, a fulfillment that you are related to existence, and existence cares for you. Once you are clean and clear, you can see tremendous love falling on you from all dimensions.
