Question Everything
If someone says they know everything, will you just take what they say as truth? Why should you, the best approach is to question everything, why just believe something/someone. A good teacher/mentor will be more than happy for you to question what is said and will want you to think for yourself, they wont want you to think the way they do.

Thank you Sol, this is a good advice. Yes, people tend to believe what others preach and forget about their own beliefs. They follow whatever most people do because they think they would be different if they don't. It's good to ask questions not only when in doubt, but also to confirm that something is worth knowing.In my case, I'm doing it through reading. Everything is interesting once you get the hang of it.I hope this doesn't offend the site.
